Yeah, No Kidding!

I completely agree with you about the drag queens. It's sort of depressing that men make better women than most women. Some of them look absolutely fabulous, though.

Of course, I have a theory about that: as you know, during the better part of the 20th century, most of the most famous designers have been gay, and I think that in their selection of models and muses they've actually selected women who look mostly like young boys. If you notice the aesthetics, models no longer respond to womanly proportions, but have narrow hips, no bust and very androginous faces.

I think that the sulpice we women have to go through nowadays to lose weight and look denaturalized and not very womanly is some sort of homosexual misoginous (?) revenge against women. The sad part, though, is we all fall for it (including straight guys. Sad).

I also completely agree with you on the having nice pictures taken part. I wish I could pose as a femme fatale in a film noire look. Wouldn't that be fun, to become Rita Hayworth?

I have posed many times for Leo's parents, and it's fun, although it's much harder than one would think to get something that actually looks good, and to know how to make the most out of what you've got for photography. I'll go with you if you want, whether it's in the States or in England.

What would be in your opinion the best and worst dresses for the Oscars? I'm still think about my choices. I know I really disliked most of what I saw, particularly Reese Witherspoon's dress.

I didn't have anything against Jessice Biel's... If only it had actually been fitting, properly accessorized and with a nice head of hair to top it off. SIGH. Where did the capacity to accesorize go with all these movie stars? Most of them were wearing really bad jewelry, and none of them had anything all that stylish or creatively put together.

I want La Dietrich and La Goddard back! I demand satisfaction!
