Today's the 50th anniversary of the plane crash that killed Buddy Holly.
Along with him in the plane traveled two other great artists of the time: The Big Bopper and Ritchie Valens, who aren't generally mentioned when speaking of the accident.
All three of them are among my favorite musicians, but I have always liked this song in particular:
