Not so much to say... TGI Friday

I am very glad that you enjoyed your "present", although I wish we ould have gone out for some fun on the town.

I can't wait for us to debut our hot new bodies! Once we get them via FedEx, that is.

How is you diet going?

I have experienced a bit of a disappointing set back, as there hasn't really been much progress this week. Actually a friend from work (well, more like an acquaintance) had me over for lunch yesterday, and everything she fed me had dairy in it. It caused me a horrible migraine headache, and was pretty much knocked out at work all evening. I have made the firm determination (what else can a girl do?) that dairy -at least in such amounts- is definetely ruled out.

I am eating some dairy with my diet, just to not lose my edge, but in very modest amounts. Also, I have discovered that I really have to have a big breakfast and a big, early lunch in order to be functioning. Otherwise, I get these horrible headaches.

This is probably the most boring post I have ever written. So I am going to proceed to tell you the actual news:

YOUNG GIRL MAKES ASTONISHING PROGRESS AT WORK

M. d.R., aged 26, has made an important achievement this morning in Madrid, Spain, sources say. After fighting her boss, C.S., for a few weeks over the matter of sending company advertisement to different media, M.d.R. finally got her way, and sent a modest amount of catalogues to different journalists in the Fashion Industry.

Results did not wait to happen: immediately after receiving her catalogue, M.T., a stylist at Vogue Magazine, did not hesitate to call: "This is a great opportunity for Vogue", she has said "such a beautifully crafted catalogue, and from an unknown brand... I just figured providing this contact for the magazine could mean my lucky break. And, who knows, maybe a promotion?"
After weeks of e-mailing back and forth between M.d.R. and M.T., Vogue magazine finally agreed to publish pieces from M.d.R.'s company in April's issue.

"This will mean a very important thrust for the company" C.S. has said, "everything that appears in the press sells within a fews weeks, and we were lucky enough to get our most important and costly pieces in for publishing"

M.d.R. was happy about the turn of events, too "Going to Vogue Magazine this morning to take the pieces was such a beautiful experience. The staff I met was all of my age, and we immediately bonded. They have all vowed to drop by the store for private business, and I think that pursuing their friendship will bring very positive input to my career. I may be able to publish my own designs in Vogue when I start making some!"

The young girl lightens up visibly when speaking about her future plans and potential career. "I'm so passionate about design. I have always felt lost about how to proceed, career wise, to become one of the bigger names in the industry. Now, I can see it happening".

When asked about her new employee, C.S. defines her with just one word, while chuckling: "priceless".


FAMOUS JEWELRY DESIGNER'S DOWNWARD SPIRAL FRIGHTENS ALL

Seeing a downhearted Marta de Reyna has become quite frequent in the most avant garde areas of Madrid. While working at her studio or walking down the street, the designer looks frequently absent minded, and some say, emaciated.

Apparently, all the drama is due to the severe crisis her relationship of three years with rock singer Leo Sánchez, has been suffering. Some sources have even recently pointed to a break up, although reports have been apochriphal, and there is not a unified perspective.

It is true, however, that the couple have not been spotted together in the recent weeks, and that they have been living apart for almost 4 months now.

A source close to the designer says "They have broken up. It happened almost at the same time as he left town. She's just covering up for the break up, hoping for a reconciliation, but it won't happen. He impregnated another woman, that's why".

Such reports have not been acknoledged by the designer's circle of friends, although worry is apparent in their faces when asked about their loved one.

Another source adds "since he left town, she has just gotten bitter. She will yell at her employees, and there is no way to bring her down to Earth when she gets into one of her ruts. Her closest family and friends are worried that she may be falling into her old drinking habits... And we all know what comes after the drinking".

Drugs? Although it has never been officially recognised, reports during the designer's 2009's trip to Ireland with friends insistently pointed to a stay in a rehab facility as the reason for her prolongued absence from her home town.

Nosey.com has leant exclusively what the real perspective at the de Reyna camp has been for the last few weeks: "There is a crisis within the couple, but it's nothing as big as the speculations were hinting. Actually, it comes directly from her: she hasn't been so happy with the relationship lately, and needs to take some time to think. She had initially thought of splitting in order to take a break, but her gut tells her to hold on for a few more months before making the decission".
